Pufatherm insulating panels

Rigid extruded polystyrene panel with coating that facilitates coupling with other materials

Scope of:

Pufatherm are thermal insulation panels intended for indoor use. In virtue?

of the special white hooking bridge the panels are ready for covering with paper

wallpaper and painting. Do they reduce permeability? to water vapor. This avoids the

formation of mold, improving the internal environmental conditions, thanks to the effective protection

against humidity? of walls and ceilings. Panels also allow you to correct slight

irregularity. Thermal bridges are reduced. Heat losses are reduced by up to 30% compared to

non-insulated masonry works.

Distinguishing features:

- They accelerate the heating of the air in the rooms and keep the temperature constant

- Do not absorb n? water n? humidity, they have no smell

- They reduce the penetration of steam, protect the walls and ceilings from humidity.

Surface preliminary treatment:

Remove old wallpaper and peeling paint layers

exposure to water using Decotric separator. Repair surface cracks, holes and

the grooves with the aid of Stucco decotric. After grinding and polishing the surfaces

grouted (where necessary), remove dust from the surface and apply a primer, eg

example Decotric base coat.

Rough / textured plaster: remove protruding parts of the plaster and dust and level

using, for example, the Stucco decotric. Very absorbent, sandy and chalky substrates

they must be primed. If priming with a solvent-containing product (eg

Processing / Application:

To glue the pufatherm insulating panels on an absorbent support it is recommended to apply

ready-to-use dispersion glues such as decotric polystyrene glue. To glue the panels

on a support without properties? absorbents, the use of contact glues such as

Contact adhesive decotric. Use only solvent-free glues.
